We have worked with a number of fundraisers and charities providing our platform as a branded online auction system that enables charities and fundraisers to sell corporate donations directed at their core followers and stakeholders.
Giving Lots are a fundraising company who run auctions for a range of fundraisers and charities. We provide them with our platform that forms the core of the auction business. We have worked with them for a number of years developing the system as their business has developed over that time.
Charities can upload their own items to the system, online payments can be received and Giving Lot can run manage and oversee the process from their own admin system. We also provide them with email marketing support sending out regular email marketing newsletters through professional managed email marketing provider.
We have provided our auction platform to these guys for the past years as a part of Flying Start which is the global charity partnership between British Airways and Comic Relief. The two auctions operated for the duration of the campaigns including online payments for the lots via Paypal.
- Post Card Auction – celebrity designed postcards that were auction during October-November 2010 and around £18,000 were raised.
- Music Auction – money can’t buy music items were auctioned off hardened music fans during October-November 2012 where over £15,000 were raised.
They were also both linked back to the main BA High Life website using our API which posted live updates of the bidding on the BA High Life auction landing page. You can see both of them here:
- Crisis – this online auction fundraising auction was promoted in conjunction with the Financial Times.
- United Way for Scotiabank – this was a fundraising site that we ran for Scotiabank for the annual United Way fundraising auction.
- The Aegis Trust – this was a preview auction site for a fundraising event to raise funds for genocide prevention.
- Holiday Lettings – this was a holiday fundraising auction that was put together with a much customized front page that helped promote the holidays for sale.
- Kenya Promotions – we produced a highly customized home page and general layout for this site to match the organization’s main website.
- Magic of Persia – We will hopefully be working with these guys again in 2012, previously we’ve provide our platform to them so that they can run an art auction preview site is to accompany their campaign to raise awareness of Persian culture.
- James Allen Girls’ School – A London based independent school who are running an art auction to raise funds for their school. Notable artists include Ronnie Wood. This has a highly custom look and feel that close matches the school’s website back when the auction was run in 2010.
- Lauren Currie Twilight Foundation – an ongoing online auction site to raise funds for this charity throughout the second half of 2011.
- Anderson Foundation – for their ‘A Day for Heroes’ campaign fundraiser which was put together by The Anderson Foundation with all proceeds donated to The Help for Heroes Charity.
- St Annes College, Oxford – this was a preview site aimed at helping the fundraising efforts for the college’s new kitchen.
- Winchester College – a auction site to accompany the school’s fundraising summer party held in the Summer of 2011
- National Trust for Scotland – we ran this auction preview site for their President’s Ball Fundraising event during Spring 2010.
- Help for Heroes Concert – This is an auction preview for this fundraiser to support wounded service men and women returning from Iraq and Afghanistan
- Westminster Abbey – we ran this auction preview site for their St Margaret’s Church Appeal which culminated in their tea party during July 2010.
- The Soldier’s Charity Ball – this auction preview was run to take preliminary bids and promote the auction prior to the live event in September 2010.
- The National Wedding Show – these guys are using our auction platform to make a special offering to their clients whilst raising funds for Breakthrough Breast Cancer
- JDRF – an auction preview site run for the charity JDRF who raise funds for juveniles with diabetes.
