Working alongside Weatherbys, who administer racing under contract to the British Horseracing Association we have adapted our auction platform to manage the fixture tendering process for the Racing Fixture List. This is effectively a live auction scenario that allows the BHA to auction off one fixture after another to the racecourse who are watching the entire auction online from the comfort of their boardroom.
WasteWeb is aa web-based online trading environment for the waste sector which will be launching in 2012. It is a forum where waste producers, waste processors and intermediaries can meet and trade in waste of all types. Prices being determined through a range of auction auction processes that we have developed.
We have worked with Scotiabank, who the third largest bank in Canada by deposits market capitalisation, on two occasions in the last year where we have rented our auction platform to them for the duration of two separate campaigns.
The first was for an internal sales auction that gave sales staff the opportunity to bid for places on golf matches and competitions held at exclusive golf clubs. These golf matches are used to help sales staff network with potential clients.
They also came back to us at the tail end of 2011 for their annual fundraising programme for the United Way Charity, where a number of lots were put up for sale to raise funds for United Way’s community programmes.
